Site work for a civil project in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
This project consists of retrofit improvements to five (5) existing stormwater detention basins at various locations along Route 4, Route 403 and I-95. The proposed retrofit improvements include installation of pretreatment practices, new or modified out control structures, basin excavation and fill, limited liner removal and maintenance improvements to modify the systems to meet the latest design guidance. Modifications to basin geometry and water surface elevation through excavation/fill or meditation to outlet elevation, are typical to create specific ponding conditions and promote emergent plant life for biological treatment process. Other work items include the construction of maintenance access roads, cleaning of catch basins and pipes and installation and maintenance of erosion control devices. Project Locations: - Route 4, Route 403, I-95 East Greenwich, Rhode Island North Kingstown, Rhode Island Warwick, Rhode Island RI DOT - Drainage Ponds Rehabilitation C-1 Bid Bond: 5% Performance Bond: 100% Payment Bond: 100% Completion Date: June 15, 2024 Liquidated Damages: $2,700 per calendar day.
