Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Dupont, Washington. Design plans call for the construction of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The bond proposition failed at the April 25, 2023 special election. As of August 18, 2023, the district is considering a capital levy before voters as part of the November 2023 General Election. An architect has been selected. Design development will begin immediately upon approval funding. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ……………….. Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from architectural design firms for conceptual design work associated with building a new elementary school in DuPont, Washington. The design firm may also be engaged to continue services after funding is secured through closeout and post occupancy. The delivery method has not yet been determined and it will be at the choosing of SHSD. The design firm will also provide additional general architectural work for other projects throughout the district, on an as needed basis, to support the bond proposal, including technical assistance on conceptual drawings and cost estimates for other large projects considered for inclusion in the districts next bond proposal.
