Renovation of a museum in Le Roy, Kansas. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a two-story above grade museum.
As of February 7th, 2022 this project has been abandoned due to bids being over budget. The renovation and modernization of a 2-story historic building in downtown LeRoy, KS. The Work includes interior demolition,masonry restoration of both interior and exterior wall surfaces, reconstruction of the alley side walls, replacement of the wood floor with concrete slab on grade, storefront restoration, doors, windows, hardware, interior finishes,specialties, mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems and other items as indicated on the plans and specifications. For all construction and equipment contracts, the bidder shall be required to submit with the bid a negotiable bid guarantee not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive irregularity in bidding. The bidder to whom a Contract is awarded will be required to furnish acceptable Performance, Payment and Statutory Bonds each in the amount of the total contract price, in conformity with the requirements of the Contract Document. Bidder must agree to commence work on or before a date to be specified in a written"Notice to Proceed" of the Owner and to fully complete the project within 90 consecutive calendar days thereafter.
