** This project has been awarded to Glenn O. Hawbaker, inc in the amount of $1,677,081." It is the intent of the DMRM to commence the pre-bid meeting at the designated time. Prior to commencement of the meeting, an attendance sign-in form shall be distributed among the contractors present. This form will be collected by DMRM staff when the pre-bid meeting begins. Only those contractors signed in prior to collection of the form who remain in attendance through the discussion of the plans and detailed specifications shall be deemed present for the purpose of determining eligibility for bid submission acceptance. Participation in the site viewing subsequent to the completion of the discussion of the detailed specifications will not be required in establishing attendance. NO PLANS OR SPECIFICATIONS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE PRE-BID MEETING. Copies of the plans, specifications, and proposal forms will be available from the Division of Mineral Resources Management, Department of Natural Resources. Each proposal must be accompanied by a BID GUARANTY, meeting the requirements of Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. CONTRACTORS ARE ADVISED THAT EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY CONDITIONS ARE APPLICABLE TO THIS PROPOSAL IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF SECTIONS 153.59 AND 125.111 OF THE OHIO REVISED CODE. THIS PROJECT IS SUBJECT TO A 5% EDGE PARTICIPATION GOAL IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF O.R.C. SECTION 123.152 AND O.A.C. 123:2-16-08. WAGE RATES ESTABLISHED IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 1513.18 AND 1513.37 OF THE REVISED CODE ARE ALSO APPLICABLE TO THIS PROPOSAL. CONTRACTORS ARE FURTHER ADVISED THAT, IF AWARDED THE CONTRACT, BOTH THE CONTRACTOR AND ITS SUBCONTRACTOR(S) SHALL PERFORM NO SERVICES REQUESTED UNDER THIS CONTRACT OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES IN ACCORDANCE WITH EXECUTIVE ORDER 2019-12D. Sealed proposals shall be delivered to the address given at the top of Notice To Bidders. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Director of Natural Resources reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept the bid which embraces such combination alternate proposals as may promote the best interest of the State. A hazardous water body (HWB) posed a danger to the public on land owned by the City of Wellston. This AML feature is located within 20 feet of outfield fences of two baseball/softball fields at a park. In the past few years Make Wellston Beautiful has made improvements to the Wellston park increasing recreational traffic onsite. Due to estimated increased economic and community development related to the park, the Wellston Recreation Complex AML Project has been created to reclaim the hazardous water body and to make additional park improvements. The Wellston Recreation Complex project is located in Jackson County, Milton Township, at 700 N. Minnesota Ave., Wellston Ohio. Site access shall be from SR327 and Jeff Montgomery Ave. Major work items in this project include, but are not limited to, a new electrical service including lighting of 3 baseball/softball fields, 1906 Tons of Asphalt Concrete, 1418 Tons of #304 Stone, 1101 Tons of #1 & #2 Stone, 5379 SY of Filter Fabric, 187 CY of Concrete, 380 LF of Underdrains, 961 LF of Outlet Pipe, and 7 Catch Basins, a overhead protective netting system, a new pedestrian bridge, and a new maintenance building.
