Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Los Angeles, California. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Reconstruction of curb and gutter, sidewalk, driveways, alley intersections, and cross gutters and other incidental and appurtenant work The work shall be done in accordance with the Contract Documents on file and open for inspection at Public Works. The contract price will be $1,500,000 and shall be for one year or until $1,500,000 of work orders have been completed, whichever occurs first. The prime contractor shall possess a valid California Class A or C-8 contractor's license. Prebid questions regarding the Plans and Specifications shall be submitted via email only to: Ms. Irma Vargas at IVASQUEZ@pw.lacounty.gov. Prebid questions will not be accepted after 5 p.m. on Monday, December 6, 2021. Each bid must be accompanied by a surety bond payable to County of Los Angeles in an amount equal to at least $150,000 to guarantee that the bidder will enter into the contract if it is so awarded. The successful bidder will be required to submit a faithful performance bond in the amount of $1,500,000, a payment bond in the amount of $1,500,000, liability insurance, automobile insurance, and worker's compensation insurance with the contract. The contract, if awarded, will be awarded to a responsible contractor with the lowest responsive bid; however, the Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
