Renovation of an educational facility in Cincinnati, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The University of Cincinnati seeks Design Services to replace existing roofs of (2) buildings. University Hall is a six-story administrative office building, and this portion of the project will replace the 32,000+/-SF EPDM roof with a 2-ply modified bitumen system with a granulated cap sheet and remove/replace pavers at terraces. University Pavilion is a six-story administrative office building, and this portion of the project will replace the 14,000+/-SF EPDM roof with a 2-ply modified bitumen system with a granulated cap sheet. The estimated construction cost for University Hall is $1,800,000 and the estimated construction cost for University Pavilion is $850,000 for an estimated total construction cost of $2,650,000. Total Project Cost: $3,453,015 The selected A/E, as a portion of its required Scope of Services and prior to submitting its proposals, will discuss and clarify with the Owner and/or the Contracting Authority, the cost breakdown of the Architect/Engineer Agreement detailed cost components to address the Owner's project requirements and Participate in the Encouraging Growth, Diversity & Equity (EDGE) Program as required by statute and the Agreement. Also, the selected A/E will work with the University to determine the best approach to bidding. The EDGE Participation Goal for the Project is 10.0 percent
