**As of January6, 2022, Project has been awarded. Award amount is $177,346.95** The project includes a Base Bid along with an Alternate Bid and will include the repaving of LaRoche Avenue from Elliot Road to a railroad right-of-way in the Borough of Harington Park. Additional improvements include selective curb, sidewalk and ADA ramp reconstruction, striping, signage and furnishing of streetscape furnishings, as per the plans and specifications. Drawings, specifications and forms of bids, contract and bond for proposed work, prepared by Michael J. Neglia, P.E., P.P., P.L.S., Borough Engineer, will be on file at the office of said Engineer, 34 Park Avenue, Lyndhurst, N. J., and may be examined at no expense by prospective bidders during business hours. Bids must be made on Standard Proposal Forms in the manner designated herein and required by the Specifications, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes, bearing the name and address of bidder and name of project on the outside addressed to Mayor and Council. Borough of Harrington Park, Bergen County. New Jersey, and must be accompanied by a non-collusion affidavit and a certified check or bid bond for not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount bid, provided said check need not be more than $20,000.00, nor shall not be less than $500.00, and a consent of surety from a surety company authorized to transact business in the State of New Jersey in a sum equal to one hundred (100%) percent of the amount bid, and be delivered at the place on or before the hour named above. The Standard Proposal Form and the non-collusion affidavit are attached to the Specifications, copies of which will be furnished on application to the Engineer All bids shall be irrevocable, not subject to withdrawal and shall stand available for a period of sixty (60) days. The Borough of Harrington Park reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Contractors shall be advised that this project is being funded through the NJDOT. Accordingly, all requirements of the NJDOT must be followed by the contractor in the performance ofthis contract. Federal Prevailing Wage Rates shall prevail in this contract.
