Renovation of a municipal facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
City of Raleigh, North Carolina is seeking sealed bids for a 200 Ton Air Cooled Water Chiller manufactured in the United States in accordance with Buy America requirements. This is one-time Federal Transit Administration funded purchase. The purpose of this document is to provide general and specific information for the use by suppliers in submitting a bid to supply the City of Raleigh with apparatus, supplies, materials and equipment, and /or services listed above. All bids and contracts are governed by City policy, and /or by Section 143-129 of the North Carolina General Statutes. Deadline for Questions via Email 3:00pm January 19, 2022 The scope of this project includes the manufacture, delivery, and start up assistance for a new nominal 200-ton air-cooled water chiller to be placed on the roof of the existing structure. The chiller will be preordered by the owner prior to the completion of the design documents. Chiller supplier providing the pre-purchased chiller shall coordinate with engineer and successful contractor for shipping, storing, off-loading and warranty assignment once contractor has been notified of acceptance of bid. In the event the project is cancelled prior to bid phase, the owner will assume responsibility for its delivery and off-loading with the chiller supplier.
