Site work for a water / sewer project in Yorkville, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, transportation, tools, supplies, equipment, and appurtenances necessary for the complete and satisfactory rehabilitation of Water Well No. 4. The work shall be done in conformity with the specifications and exhibits and as called for by the respective Bid Items. The Contractor shall secure and pay for all permits, certificates, and licenses as may be required by the State of Illinois, and shall comply with all Federal, State and local laws, ordinances, or rules and regulations relating to the performance of the work. Well No. 4 is located south of the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) (610 Tower Lane Yorkville, IL 60560) All questions shall be submitted to Keith Powell at kpowell@eeiweb.com or (832) 445-8631. The deadline to submit questions is 12:00 pm on December 2, 2021. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of United City of Yorkville negotiable U.S. Completion- 140 consecutive calendar days The City wishes to rehabilitate this well before any major issues occur, and to lower the pump depth setting to 790-ft. The pumping equipment was last pulled in 2016 due to a mechanical failure. The pump was rebuilt, and the motor was serviced, and the equipment was reinstalled in 2016. The City desires to have the well and pumping equipment rehabilitated to match the current design conditions as closely as possible. The following specifications outline the required work items to rehabilitate Well No. 4.
