Renovation of a museum in East Amwell Township, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.

The project improvements consist of the removal of existing slate and wood shingles on the historic Clawson House. New sheathing of 5/8" CDX plywood shall be installed prior to the installation of New Vermont Natural Slate shingles with copper nails. Bidders must be registered with the N.J. Department of Treasury pursuant to section 1 of P.L.2001, c.134 (N.J.S.A. 52:32-44) at the time of bid submission. Bids must be made on standard proposal forms in the manner designated thereon and required and included in the Bid Documents, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes, bearing on the outside the name and address of the bidder, the name of the project and the date of the bid. Each proposal must be accompanied by a guarantee in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond for not less than 10% of the amount of the bid, but not to exceed $20,000.00, payable to the Township of East Amwell, and a Consent of Surety from a surety company stating that it will be bound to furnish performance and payment bonds as required in the Instruction to Bidders. Sealed bids will be submitted to the Township Clerk in person, by mail or by messenger prior to the bid opening. The Township assumes no responsibility for loss or non-delivery of any bids sent or delivered prior to the bid opening. The Township of East Amwell reserves the right to reject any and all bids in accordance with State law. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. Further, if funding is not available at the time that bids are being reviewed by the Township, no contract will be awarded. The right is also reserved to increase or decrease the quantities specified in the manner designated in the Specifications. The award of the Contract for this project will not be made until the necessary funds have been provided by the Township of East Amwell in a lawful manner. In accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A.10:5-33, Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq. All Bidders are expected to comply with all provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law (N.J.S.A. 40A: 11-1 et seq.) and all regulations promulgated in connection therewith by the New Jersey Division of Local Government Services. The successful bidder shall be required to comply with the following: A. Affirmative Action requirements (P.L. 1975, C.127, N.J.S.A. 10:5-1 et seq.). B. The provisions of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq.). C. Anti-Kickback Regulations under Section 2 of the Act of June 13, 1934, known as the Copeland Act. D. Worker and Community Right-to-Know Act (N.J.S.A. 34:5A-1). E. Anti-Drug/Alcohol plan in accodance with 49 CFR Parts 40, 199 and 391. The bid must also be accompanied by a list of names and addresses of all stockholders owning 10% or more of the stock in accordance with the provisions of the Public Disclosure Law (P.L. 1988, C.33, N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2).
