**As of 2/22022 This project was canceled and not awarded. The following summary of work is provided as a guide to assist contractors in understanding the general scope of electrical work that is part of this contract. Detailed descriptions and requirements are included in the drawings and specifications:
Demolish trees adjacent to Central Plant at Cravens Road and provide new concrete pad for new emergency power generator.
Install new OFCI (Owner Furnished Contractor Installed) emergency power generator.
Install new OFCI Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) in Police Storage at building N10.
Disconnect power to switchboard 'WL', panelboard 'LV-1' at Central Plant, panelboard 'EH1' at building N12 and shutdown natural gas service at central plant.
Demolish existing manual transfer switch and tap box serving building N10.
Demolish existing transformer 'TXX' in IT room N10.149A, associated disconnect switch, exterior wall mounted pullboxes, associated conduit and wiring.
Make natural gas piping connection to new emergency power generator.
Make power and control connections for generator and ATS.
Transfer loads from A/C units serving IT room N10.149A over to the existing emergency panel 'EGL' at N10 backed up by new generator. Provide new circuit breakers.
Transfer loads from IT equipment in IT room N10.149A over to the emergency panel 'EGL'. Provide new circuit breaker.
Request and provide inspection and start-up procedure for new emergency power generator by manufacturer's representative. Project Estimate: Current estimate for work is approximately one hundred sixty thousand dollars ($160,000). Schedule: Work is scheduled to start upon delivery of the generator, estimated delivery of August 2022. This project shall be completed within ninety (90) days from date of delivery of the generator.
