Site work for a municipal facility in Woodbine, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.

The Work under this project involves the removal and proper disposal of PCB Impacted soil and capping ofthe site as an Engineering Control at 608 DeHirsch Avenue (a/k/a Hat Company Site) and more specifically includes furnishing all material, equipment and labor to complete the following tasks as further described in the bid documents: 1. Removal of a PCB soil hotspot previously identified in the May 2010 Remedial Investigation Report, Van Note-Harvey Associates, Inc. 2. Over excavate and remove additional impacted soil 10 ppm (mg/kg) or greater (if present); 3. Manage impacted and non-impacted soil through stockpiling and proper disposal (TSCA or other as required); 4. Provide health and safety precautions such as temporary fencing, etc. 5. Reclaim the excavation using certified clean fill; 6. Collect and present to client all documentation related to the PCB soil removal including but not limited to bills of lading, disposal/recyclmg certificates, and health and safety documentation. 7. Install a permeable stone cap engineering control on the northern portion of the subject parcel. The engineering control is required to address PAH(s), PCBs and metals in soil exceeding the NJDEP SRS that will remain in place. The guarantee shall be payable to the contracting unit so that if the contract is awarded to the bidder, the bidder will enter into a contract therefor and will furnish any performance bond or other security required as a guarantee or indemnification. The guarantee shall be in the amount of 5% of the bid and may be given, at the option ofthe bidder, by certified check, cashier's check or bid bond. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond acceptable to the Borough, in the amount of one hundred (100%) percent of the contract, in conformity with the requirements of the Contract Documents. The successful bidder will be required, upon final payment, to furnish a General Maintenance Bond acceptable to the Borough, in conformity with the requirements of the Contract Documents The Borough of Woodbine reserves the right to reject any bid pursuant to law and all bids may be rejected pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:l 1-13.2.
