Rock Cut Road Building 2 Optimization Project no- 21136, 4213700 Separate sealed Bids will be received for the following: Contract No. 1 - General Transfer Station Building 2 Optimization Contract No. 2 - Plumbing & Fire Suppression Building 2 Optimization Contract No. 3 - Electrical Building 2 Optimization The work is part of the Rock Cut Road Transfer Station Project and consists of tipping floor expansion; push wall construction; egress modifications; and utility protection/relocation in accordance with the Bidding Documents prepared by Cornesrtone Engineering and Land Surveying, PLLC (Cornerstone) The Work to be accomplished under this Contract shall be performed as follows: Work should not begin at the project site before receiving "Notice to Proceed" and shall be substantially complete 60 calendar days from said date of "Notice to Proceed," and shall be fully completed 75 calendar days from the date of "Notice to Proceed It is the intent of the Construction Plans and Technical Specifications to provide alterations and/or new construction as indicated to provide complete systems in every respect, capable of operating as designed. It is not intended that every fitting, minor detail or feature be shown on Construction Plans or detailed within the Technical Specifications. The Contractor shall be responsible for any additional detail necessary for completion of these systems in accordance with good practice. Installation shall be executed so as to contribute to efficiency of operation, proper and safe functioning of the construction and its equipment, minimum maintenance, accessibility, and sightliness. The requirements specified herein shall govern applicable portions of all Sections whether so stated herein or not. C. Comply with applicable regulatory requirements and various codes. Where conflicts exist between local, State, and/or Federal regulatory requirements, codes, or these Technical Specifications, Contractor shall advise the Architect-Engineer or Owner. The Architect-Engineer will assist in resolving the conflicts to the satisfaction of the regulatory agencies prior to commencing the Work. D. All Work shall comply with OSHA and PESH (site specific safety plans required), the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code (the "Uniform Code"), which includes the current editions, Part 1221 (Building Code), Part 1222 (Plumbing Code), Part 1223 (Mechanical Code), Part 1224 (Fuel Gas Code), Part 1225 (Fire Code), Part 1226 (Property Maintenance Code), Part 1227 (Existing Building Code), and Part 1240 (New York State Energy Conservation). E. The Contractor shall be advised that where noted, the use of a brand name is for the purpose of describing the standard of quality, performance and characteristics desired and is in no way intended to limit or restrict competition
