Renovation of a civil project in Sunrise, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Deadline for Questions Day/Date: Tuesday, November 7, 2023 Time: 12:00 Noon The Contractor shall furnish a Public Construction Bond to the City in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price Work includes, but not limited to, the construction of the following: (1) Approximately 1,300 linear feet (LF) of 24-inch HDPE and 24-inch and 16-inch stainless steel pipe for the Sawgrass Water Treatment Plant's (WTP) concentrate disposal line, including valves, magnetic flow meters, and air release valves, to replace the existing 24-inch ductile iron pipeline. The new pipe will be routed from the existing concentrate well, CW-1, to a piping trench inside the Chemical/Mechanical Building, where it will be connected to an existing 20-inch stainless steel pipe. The piping will be above grade at CW-1 and will be buried from the CW-1 containment pad to the piping trench inside the Chemical/Mechanical Building. (2) A new Hydropneumatic Level Control system, designed by the manufacturer, connected to the buried membrane concentrate pipe. (3) Approximately 1,00 linear feet of 3-inch PVC sump pump drain piping from CW-1 to connect to existing 3-inch PVC drain piping located in the yard outside the Chemical/Mechanical Building. (4) Removal of existing membrane elements, installation of new membrane elements and accessories, start-up, and performance testing for one nano- filtration membrane system (NFMS) treatment train (Train No. 1). Project is included in the City of Sunrise's FY 2022-2026 CIP. As of November 17, 2023, information regarding a design team or a general contractor is not available. Construction is anticipated in FY 2023.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
