This USCG RMACC Task Order project will take place at USCG Air Station Sacramento, McClellan Air Park, Sacramento, CA. This project involves the replacement of the high bay fluorescent luminaires and controls with high bay LED luminaires and wireless controls. Work also includes the removal of the existing bird netting and an option price to design and replace the bird netting with a new system. All subcontractors will be required to comply with the updated Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Guidance, and subsequent information issued by the Administration's Safer Workforce Task Force concerning COVID-19 Workplace Safety: Agency Model Safety Principles, issued on July 29, 2021. This project will be subject to the provisions of the USCG Master RMACC Contract (available in our online plan room in the SUBCONTRACT DOCS folder), the Buy American Act, and the Prevailing Wage Decision rates. Trades Required: Hazardous Material Testing, Selective Interior Demolition, Bird Control Devices, Electrical, Wireless Lighting Controls *Amendment 0001 has been issued for this solicitation. Provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, field investigation, and testing services necessary to replace high bay fluorescent luminaires and controls with high bay LED luminaires and wireless controls at the Coast Guard Air Station Sacramento Hangar 1106 in Sacramento County at McClellan Airfield, California. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: A. Demolish and dispose high bay fluorescent luminaires and mounting pendants. All demolition and disposal of demolished equipment shall be in accordance with all Federal, State, Local laws, codes, and regulations. B. Remove bird netting prior new lighting system installation and reinstall existing bird netting after installation of the lighting system. If an Option Bid item (see para. 1.02 of 01 10 00) is authorized by Contracting Officer, the reinstallation work for the existing bird netting will be deleted. C. Provide new high bay LED luminaires, wireless controls and all associated conduit and wires and mounting hardware. See Design Drawings and Specifications.
