As December 21 2021 this project has no award yet. Proposed work for the project takes place on four parcels of land owned by the Village of River Hills. (Tax Keys 0249992010, 0249993000, 0249994001, and 0249994002). The constructed wetland project located at River Hills Conservancy is 28ac of historic agricultural land to be developed into two constructed wetlands with native seeding and planting. The proposed wetlands will serve as the primary stormwater management device for future development planned for the property. Site Directions: 1600-1700 W Brown Deer Rd, River Hills, Wisconsin The work includes approx. 18,000 cubic yards of general excavation, 70,000 square yards of grading, tree and brush removal, 15,000 square yards of in place clay liner, 26,000 square yards of erosion control matting, 15 acres native seeding, 22,000 plant plugs, storm sewer structures and pipe, erosion control measures and other miscellaneous items. This project has a 35% SWMBE participation requirement. Failure to meet this requirement will result in rejection of bid or 4% penalty on contract total. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Deposit in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the Bid. Bids may be withdrawn only pursuant to relevant provisions of Wisconsin law. Otherwise all Bids must be offered for a period extending sixty (60) days beyond the Bid opening. The letting of the work described herein is subject to the provisions of Sec. 62.15, 66.0901, 779.14, 779.15, Wisconsin Statutes, and all other relevant provisions of federal, state and local law. RES Great Lakes, LLC reserves the right to reject any and all Bids. Contractors should contact the Program Construction Manager to request an on-site review of the property. Contractors are not allowed onsite without prior approval.
