Proposals will be received electronically by the Office of the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner ("Owner") located at Building 95 West, One Public Works Drive, Waterford, Michigan 48328-1907 for the restoration of the Timber Ridge Ground Storage Tank in Highland Township. The project includes exterior caulking, wet interior caulking, foundation coating, cathodic protection system installation, and various tank improvements/modifications detailed in the attached project specifications. Overflow Discharge Modification - Install a stainless steel flange and duck bill check valve on the overflow pipe discharge per the technical specifications and drawings. B. Vent Replacement - Replace existing roof vent with a pressure vacuum vent per the technical specifications and drawings. C. Fall Prevention Installation - Install fall prevention devices on the exterior ladders per the technical specifications and drawings. D. Handrail Installation - Install handrail on the roof per the technical specifications and drawings. E. Surface Preparation - Preparation of surfaces and seams for caulking and coating per the technical specifications, including pressure washing the exterior of the tank. F. Exterior Caulking - Remove existing caulking and re-caulk the seams and bolts on the exterior sidewall panels per the technical specifications and manufacturer requirements. G. Coating the Tank Foundation - Water clean and apply a two coat epoxy system per the technical specifications and manufacturer requirements. Incidental to project costs. H. Wet Interior Caulking - Remove existing caulking and re-caulk the seams on the sidewall and floor of the wet interior per the technical specifications and manufacturer requirements. I. Cathodic Protection System Installation - Install a sacrificial anode cathodic protection system, including any necessary electrical, in the interior of the tank per the technical specifications and drawings. J. Gasket Installation - Replace sidewall manway gaskets and install gaskets on the wet interior roof hatches per the technical specifications and drawings. Incidental to project costs.
