Site work for a water / sewer project in Hastings, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Watermain replacement consisting of approximately 3,300ft of 12" DIP, 1,070ft of 10" DIP, 3,500ft of 8" DIP, fittings and valves, 113 water services from the main to the stop box and 85 water services from the main to the meter. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Nebraska, or a bid bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid of all contract construction costs, made payable to the City Treasurer of the City of Hastings, Nebraska, as security that the bidder to whom the contract may be awarded will enter into a contract to build all the improvements in accordance with this notice and give bond in the sum hereinafter provided for the construction of improvements. The Contractor shall furnish a maintenance bond with a company having the approval of the City in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the completed construction project for a specified time period of three (3) years against defects and faults in materials, workmanship, and design The Contractor shall furnish a performance bond with a company having the approval of the City in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price guaranteeing complete and faithful performance of the contract, payment of all bills of whatever nature which could become a lien against the property. Completion date December 31, 2022
