Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Vanderhoof, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 9,475-square-foot, two-story above grade municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The District of Vanderhoof intends to pre-qualify Contractors interested in acting as a General Contractor for the construction of a new Public Works Building located on 250 East 2nd Street, Vanderhoof BC. Only firms that have been pre-qualified will be invited to submit a bid. The District of Vanderhoof is constructing a new Public Works Building in 2022. The new Public Works Building will be located at 250 East 2nd Street in Vanderhoof, British Columbia, and will be owned and operated by the District of Vanderhoof. The work to be undertaken by the successful proponent will commence upon the successful proponent and the District entering into a contract for the Deliverables. The District’s goal for completion and occupancy of the Public Works Building is November 2022. The purpose of this pre-qualification is to identify a short list of general contractors who are interested in undertaking the development of the District of Vanderhoof’s Public Works Building. The total construction footprint will be 7300 square feet with an additional 2300 square feet second floor area. The building will consist of 5 truck bays and office/admin spaces.
