Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Palmerston, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Work to be undertaken for this project includes but is not limited to the following: 1. Installation of a new secondary clarifier approximately 18.28m dia. x 4.11m SWD centre feed design, withdrawing activated sludge out of a bottom sludge ring; a new sludge pumping gallery with new variable speed return activated sludge pumps and new constant speed waste activated sludge pumps and all mechanical and electrical equipment including instrumentation equipment, motor control centre and all accessory equipment. 2. The new pump gallery will also include a separate return/waste activated sludge hopper and separate scum hopper. 3. The new clarifier and pump gallery will ultimately become a component of a future full plant expansion and all major equipment being installed on this project will be SCADA ready to facilitate more modern control in the future. 4. The project also includes the installation of a new flow splitting chamber, associated stainless steel sluice gates and new inlet/outlet piping including all instrumentation and control equipment and all necessary accessory equipment. The new piping system will include a magmeter on both the return and waste discharge lines to monitor flow. 5. The existing clarifier and it's associated return/waste pumping/piping systems will be left in place to handle any flows above the new clarifier's peak capacity. With all related equipment, process piping, site work, heating, ventilating, plumbing and electrical work and all other work necessary for a complete job in accordance with the details set out more specifically hereafter and as shown on the accompanying Contract Drawings.
