**As of January 21, 2022, the project was awarded to Carolina Grading & Utilities Inc for $1,190,091 with the alt bid 1. The start and completion date has not yet been determined. The Project includes the replacement/construction of approximately 5,000 L.F. of 12-inch and smaller diameter sewer line, cleaning, sewer lining of 450 LF of 12- and 8-inch gravity sewer line, and replacement of 23 manholes and associated appurtenances. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis. The Project is funded through the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: The Lane Group, Inc., 310 West Valley Street, Abingdon, Virginia 24210, Phone 276.206.8571, e-mail wrobinson@thelanegroupinc.com. Prospective Bidders may examine and obtain the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Thursday between the hours of 7:30 am 5:30 pm and Friday between the hours of 8:00 am 12:00 pm. MBE/WBE firms are encouraged to submit bids
