**As of May 24, 2022 , the project has not been awarded. A timeline for the award is not yet established.** Seeking Statements of Qualifications from consultants to provide design and construction services for the full rehabilitation of the Greenhouse Facility at Farmingdale. The facility was constructed in 1980 and comprises a masonry headhouse which contains instructional and administration spaces and two glass greenhouses for the plants. The total size is 22,330 gross square feet. The greenhouses lack proper ventilation, cannot accommodate taller plants, have single pane glazing, contains asbestos, and the environmental controls system is in poor condition. The headhouse no longer adequately supports the academic mission of the greenhouse due to its condition and arrangement of spaces. A study conducted in 2020 identified numerous deficiencies within the greenhouse structures and general declining of all building systems in the headhouse. The rehabilitation of this facility shall be accomplished by replacing the greenhouses and renovating the headhouse.
