Site work and asbestos abatement for a municipal facility in Crewe, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility; and for asbestos abatement for a municipal facility.
The project consists of the remediation of the former N&W Division Office Building. Work shall include abatement/removal and proper legal disposal of asbestos-containing materials, and work related to remediation /removal/recycling of lead-based paint coated surfaces, and other hazardous and non-hazardous wastes, testing of materials, and legal offsite disposal of removed items and materials. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The procedure for withdrawal of bids shall be in accordance with procedure (i) of Section 2.2 - 4330 of the Code of Virginia. BIDDERS attention is invited to the requirements of Section 54.1 of the Code of Virginia pertaining to registration and contractor licensure. The bidder shall place on the outside of the envelope containing the bid and shall place in the bid over his signature whichever of the following notations is appropriate: Licensed Class A Virginia Contractor No._.
