A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The University of Texas at Austin ("University") on behalf of Intercollegiate Athletics requests bids in response to this Invitation to Bid no. 712-0001-MPAS ("ITB") from qualified and experienced vendors ("Bidders") to furnish all materials and complete installation instructions for a portable basketball floor of First Grade (Competition) hard maple wood ("Services"). The Services, which are more specifically described in the Scope of Work ("SOW"), include (but may not be limited to): Furnish all materials and provide a complete turnkey installation instruction for a portable basketball floor of First Grade (Competition) hard maple wood. The portable floor is to be constructed of sectional panels and when assembled, will provide a completed floor for use in International, College and Professional basketball competition. Work includes panel fabrication, sanding and court markings in accordance with University instructions, finishing, initial assembly and commissioning at the Moody Center located on The University of Texas at Austin campus. Contractor must provide complete portable basketball floor and configure floor surface according to the existing portable basketball floor. Total area of the floor is approximately eight thousand seven hundred (8,949) square feet. The planned dimensions of the court surface are 128'9" x 69'6". Along with the complete portable floor, Contractor must include an additional ten (10) 4 X 8 foot flooring .sections. These additional flooring sections will be spares. Contractor must provide the services of a competent working superintendent serving as the manufacturer's representative during initial product setup to fine-tune floor fit and train University personnel in all aspects of installation, removal, handling, storage, and maintenance of the portable basketball floor. Contractor must furnish manufacturer's detailed drawings and written installation instructions. University reserves the right to change the dates as shown below.
