Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lewisville, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.

The downtown improvements project will include Base Bid Item's and Alternate Bid items. The Base Bid, in general, will include demolition and removal of material of existing site material, construction of curb, sidewalk, ADA curb ramps, restoration of exiting brick sidewalk, installation of benches, planters, and landscaping. The Project is being funded from a Rural Business Development Grant (RBDG) from the United States Department of Agriculture's Rural Development division. The project will be constructed in up to one (1) contract division. Bidders are required to receive bid documents directly from Eastern Engineering. Bids must be submitted on the forms provided in the Bid Documents and shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount bid with satisfactory corporate surety or by a certified check on a solvent bank. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Bid. Any Bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids. All bids received shall remain valid and in force for 60 calendar days after the date of Bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids in whole or in part as specified in the solicitation when it is not in the best interest of the governmental body as determined by the purchasing agency in accordance with IC 5-22-18-2.
