Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Princeton, Indiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a 7,500-square-foot municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
New construction of an Approximate 7,500 square foot office building in Princeton, Indiana 47670. The Commissioners solicit bids for a contractor to perform all work associated with said project including all labor, material, and equipment. The contractor must provide a finished product that meets allrequirements of federal, state, and local law, rules, and regulations, including ADA rules and regulations. The contractor will be responsible for all utility locates, and protection, surveying, traffic control, if necessary, CQA testing, quality control, safety, and ADA compliance. The bidder shall orderly compile all necessary bid documents and submit the same in a sealed envelope (see details below). 1. Existing building demolition to be excluded from this bid package. Engineered fill will have been completed by the demolition contractor under separate contract. Engineered fill will be installed up to match existing grade at perimeter of demolished building. 2. Any/all other demolition as required for new construction to be included in this bid package. 3. Furnishings (office furniture) are not included in this bid. 4. Security/fire alarm systems are not a part of this Bid. Data boxes/conduit to above ceiling are to be included as indicated on drawings. Any addendums will be available at said site. Questions regarding the specifications can be asked by contacting Landmark Design and Engineering, Inc, by phone at 812-402-4500. The bidder has the burden of gathering all necessary information to knowledgeably prepare a bid package and should check the aforementioned website for addendums. The Commissioners reserve the right to: (1) waive any irregularities or informalities in any bid, (2) to award the contract to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, or (3) to reject all submitted bids. Bids shall be properly and completely executed on Revised Form 96 as required by Indiana law with acceptable bid security. Revised Form 96 must be signed. A bid security is required for the purpose of ensuring the execution of the contract for which the bid is made. The bid security shall be either: (1) a certified check made payable to "Gibson County", or (2) a satisfactory bond by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana in an amount equal to 10% of the bid. In addition to Revised Form 96 , each bidder submitting a propos al must provide the following documentation/information: (1) a signed affidavit of non-collusion, (2) proof of insurance, (3) a financial statement, (4) a statement of experience, (5) the bidder s' proposed plan or plans for performing the contract including completion dates, (6) the equipment the bidder has available for the performance of the contract and (7) any other items called for by the specifications. Any bid not accompanied by the requireditems shall be deemed as a non-responsive bid by the bidder. Tendering the documents at the bid opening on Friday, January 14, 2022, at 1:00 PM CST at Gibson County Annex North, which is located at 225 N Hart St., # 105, Princeton,Indiana 47670. Any bids received later than the above time and date will be returned unopened. No conditional bids will be considered. After bid opening, said bids will then be taken under advisement and a final decision made by the Gibson County Board of Commissioners at a subsequent public meeting.
