The town of stonington is accepting sealed proposals for a photovoltaic solar array & battery storage construction project & power purchase agreement with the town. Each proposer must submit a sealed envelope, the outside of which must be clearly marked "RFP #2021-010 enclosed photovoltaic solar array & battery storage construction & power purchase agreement""" and include the proposers company name and address. Any questions regarding this RFP should be emailed to Adam Teff, ATeff@TitanEnergyNE.com, with copy to James Sullivan, Director of Finance, Town of Stonington, at jsullivan@stonington-ct.gov by 3:00 PM on December 14, 2021. The successful Proposer is required to comply with all provisions of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Equal Opportunity Act of 1972, Executive Orders #3, No. 17, 11246, 11375 and 11478. Contractors shall comply with State Statutes concerning Employment and Labor Practices, if applicable, and Section 31-53 of the Connecticut Statutes, as amended (Prevailing Wages). The TOS/SBOE shall pay no upfront costs related to the development of the solar PV or battery storage system arising from this RFP. The successful Proposer shall provide fully managed photovoltaic and battery storage services that include, but are not limited to, securing the necessary labor, services, equipment, permits, and approvals to develop a fully operational PV or battery storage system. The Proposer will then commission, own, monitor, operate, and maintain the system after installation until buyout or removal.
