Roof Replacement at Park View School, Roof Areas 15 and 17, Morton Grove, Illinois. The Project Base Bid Work generally consists of replacement of roofing, as follows: 1. Roof Area 15: a. Removal and legal disposal of existing roof system, insulation and related flashings down to existing gypsum deck; b. Providing a nailed base sheet, mechanically attached; c. Providing a 2-ply substrate membrane in hot asphalt; d. Providing 2 layers of 2.6-inch polyisocyanurate insulation, adhered; e. Providing a 1/2-inch high-density coverboard, set in adhesive; f. Providing 60-mil fully-adhered EPDM single-ply roof membrane; g. Providing new prefinished sheet metal flashings at perimeters of roof area and at projections, as required. 2. Roof Area 17: a. Removal and legal disposal of existing roof system, insulation and related flashings down to existing gypsum deck; b. Providing a nailed base sheet, mechanically attached; c. Providing a 2-ply substrate membrane in hot asphalt; d. Providing 2 layers of 2.6-inch polyisocyanurate insulation, adhered; e. Tapered polyisocyanurate insulation; f. Providing a 1/2-inch high-density coverboard, set in adhesive; g. Providing 60-mil fully-adhered EPDM single-ply roof membrane; h. Providing new prefinished sheet metal flashings at perimeters of roof area and at projections, as required.
