The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Two raised medians on Manville Road; between Tompkins and Washington Avenue and Vanderbilt Avenue and Grant Street/Memorial Plaza 2. Relocate the right turn from Memorial Plaza onto Manville Road and revisions to the signalized intersection at Manville Road / Memorial Plaza / Grant Street. 3. Sidewalk expansions are proposed for the south side of Manville Road between Vanderbilt and Tompkins Avenue. 4. Approximately 1,700 linear feet of sidewalk to be replaced. 5. Curb extensions with curb ramps to be installed at all crosswalk locations on Manville Road between Tomkins Avenue and the west of Wheeler Avenue. 6. New intersection markings will be added on throughout the project corridor. 7. New pedestrian crosswalk signage on both sides of Manville Road at the east of Tompkins Avenue will be considered. 8. Removal of an existing pedestrian crosswalk in the vicinity of Wheeler Ave. 9. Utility replacement / modification in support of the project improvements as illustrated on the project drawings. 10. The traffic signal at the intersection of Memorial Plaza and Manville Road will need to be modified to accommodate the above mentioned pedestrian improvements 11. A portion of traffic signal at the intersection of Wheeler Avenue and Manville Road will be removed as a non-conforming feature that requires mitigation under this project. 12.
