Renovation of a library in Glenview, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
Bids will be held good and may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days from the date of receipt. Library Board project approval is anticipated to occur at the January 20, 2022 meeting of the Board of Trustees. Commencement of the work on the project shall be to the discretion of Owner. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to accept any or reject all bids when, in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve the best interest of the Owner. Bids on all work of this contract shall be subject to the provisions of the "Illinois Prevailing Wage Act" (Illinois Revised Statutes, Chapter 48, Section 395S - 1-12). Project specifications and scope will be on file for reference online and are available at https://www.glenviewpl.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Glenview-Public-Library-RFID-RFP11.10.2021.pdf. Any comments or questions must be submitted via email, to Department Head of Material Services Karen Kee at kkee@glenviewpl.org no later than December 13, 2021, by 2:00 p.m. local time.
