Renovation of a transportation facility in New Orleans, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.

The City of New Orleans (City) and New Orleans Aviation Board (NOAB) solicit bids to obtain an emergency contract for Metal Roofs and Siding Repair at the South Terminal and South Campus of the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (Airport) to mitigate further damage initially caused by Hurricane Ida. The requested services include (but are not limited to) the following: 1. The contractor to whom the contract is awarded (the Contractor) will be responsible for the repairing or replacing the damaged roof, siding, flashing, coping, trim, gutters, and any other necessary components or materials at the locations described below. Contractor shall keep the building(s) dried-in from the time of Notice To Proceed through completion and acceptance by NOAB. Scope also includes procurement and disposal of all materials and/or equipment necessary for the repairs. All materials shall be Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or equivalent equal. Contractor shall take all precautions to prevent any construction materials and debris from entering the secured air side of building. All dimensions are approximations. Contractor shall verify all dimensions. 2. SIDA badging and operational requirements and restrictions while working on an active airfield will be enforced. Standard safety procedures shall be implemented, and qualified personnel shall be contracted, to successfully complete all tasks. All work shall be completed within 120 calendar days of issuance of Notice To Proceed (NTP). 3. Access to airside work areas shall be through Gate 167. SIDA badging and operational requirements and restrictions while working on an active airfield will be enforced. Standard safety procedures shall be implemented, and qualified personnel shall be contracted, to successfully complete all tasks. 4. Contractor shall notify MSY upon completion of work to schedule final inspection and acceptance, prior to issuance of final payment. 5. Provide proof of proper disposal, upon submittal of final invoice. (Receipts, landfill tickets, etc) 6. Repairs to be completed are identified below, locations are shown in Exhibit 1 - Site Map and Exhibit 2 - South Campus Map. All repairs shall be completed in accordance with Exhibit 3 - Specifications, unless otherwise agreed by the Contractor and NOAB
