Renovation of a residential development in Navajo, New Mexico. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

The Navajo Housing Authority (NHA) (Hereinafter called the "Owner") invites all qualified Licensed General Contractors to bid on Exterior Repair on Public Rental Units. Exterior Repair on Public Rental Units in AZ12-124 Steamboat, AZ and AZ12-063 Teesto, AZ Contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, materials, equipment and supervision to replace asphalt shingles and exterior envelope project of 20 public rental residential homes. o 10 units - AZ12-124 Steamboat, AZ - This project will have front and back porches replace and repair with Plastic Wood Composites (TREX(C)). o 10 units - AZ12-063 Teesto, AZ. 2. All work shall be complete per the applicable existing building code (International Existing Building Code. (Use the applicable code to the location where built). 3. All work to complete in a quality manner, inspected and accepted by NHA. 4. All material shall be of "better" quality, on a 'Good, Better, Best" standard. 5. Materials, manufacturer's lines and brands shall be in accordance with the attached technical specifications and any submittals approved prior to installation. 6. Furnish all materials including all installation techniques and requirements not specifically listed but necessary to complete installation. 7. Windows shall meet or exceed the specification required. 8. Remove and replace front and back door porches. Use Trex, or like, material for new decking and railings on front and back porches. 9. Contractor shall be license within any State covering the Navajo Nation. 10.If asbestos containing material (ACM) were positively identified. Refer to the attached ACME Environmental testing reports for details. 11.Contractor or any subcontractor performing work that involves possible contaminated materials shall have all required lead and asbestos licenses prior to starting work and must be in good standing. 12.Clean up debris & unused material, and remove from site daily. 13.Excavation - Backfill work foundation and grade to drain away from houses. 14.Set up FTP site for document management.
