**As of January 19, 2022 the project has not been awarded yet.** Calhoun County is seeking proposals from qualified concrete and masonry contractors to facilitate the replacement and repair of concrete located at the Calhoun County Justice and Correctional Facility located at 161 E. Michigan Avenue, Battle Creek. The contractor shall provide materials, labor and supervision for the project. All work for the complete project will be under a single prime contractor through a firm fixed price contract with the County based on bids received and awarded. The meeting will be immediately followed by a tour of the project site. Representatives of County Administration and Facilities will be present to discuss the project, bidding requirements and project sequencing requirements. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is strongly encouraged in order for the bidder to submit a bid. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project. This project is for the removal and replacement of approximately 1,700 lineal feet total of a fluted concrete and 17,500 square feet of flat work, ramps and stairs located on either side of the front steps. Measurements will include total lineal feet of the work area itemized by concrete and railing measurements. Fluted vertical walls: will be removed and replaced with smooth textured concrete. Handrails replaced and installed, as determined. ADA walkways : will be removed, with the new ones poured and pinned. Handrails will be replaced and installed, as determined.
