Selected Vendor(s) are solely responsible for any damages to public and or private property that is a result of any work done. The selected vendor is responsible any and all permits be it city, county, state or federal. There is not smoking or alcohol allowed on district property. The Freeport School district is asking for an RFQ (Request for Quote) to remove an estimated 4,527 of 12" non-asbestos floor tile (glue is also non-asbestos) and replace it with LVT floor tile located at 701 W. Empire here in Freeport, Illinois. This is the "RED" section on the map provided with the bid package. The vendor is responsible for protecting all district property, including lockers, glazed blocks, etc. The vendor must make necessary arrangements not to activate the fire alarm system. The vendor selected is responsible for the removal and disposal of all removed floor tiles. The vendor will need to remove an estimated 4,527 of the current 12" tile. Once removed, the floor must be cleaned and prepped to industrial standards, including skim coating. The selected replacement tile is Armstrong Flooring exchange 6" X 36" with high moisture adhesive.
