The Owner anticipated budget for the Project is approximately $2 million. The Olentangy Local School District is accepting proposals from firms to provide construction services for the Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings Project. Interested firms may request an RFP from Jeffrey Gordon at jeffrey_gordon@olsd.us. The Owner seeks Proposals from experienced contractors to install metal buildings at the Olentangy Local School District (OLSD). OLSD has identified improvements to be implemented during the next 5-year period and will work with the selected design professional to define additional work to be accomplished, as well as, establishing a detailed schedule for completion of the anticipated tasks. Please note that all projects may not involve the contractor. The anticipated Projects are as follows: (1) A 12,000 square foot pre-engineered metal building to accommodate a new technology office and maintenance facility with storage, offices, conference rooms, loading dock, kitchen, and restrooms. Olentangy HighSchool, 675 Lewis Center Rd, Lewis Center, Ohio 43035. The Owner's anticipated budget for the Project is approximately $2 million. (2) OLSD may identify additional prefabricated metal building improvements during the next five year period. . The Work is being procured through a competitive proposal process outside of the statutory bidding requirements for public school districts, as Ohio Revised Code Section 3313.46 only requires competitive bidding for work related to "school buildings," and the relevant work set forth in this Request for Proposalsis not to build, repair, enlarge, improve, or demolish a school building.
