Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Marysville, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of the following: Project consists of two (2) new 40 hp (800 gpm) horizontal split case pumps, electrical valves, instruments, and miscellaneous piping to provide boosted pressure to the south distribution area including the new Jerome Township Elevated Storage Tank. The work is located in the pedestal of the existing Fladt Road Elevated Storage Tank. The City has adopted the electronic bidding process in an effort to make the bidding process more efficient and cost effective for both the contractor and the City. Bidders shall provide proof of qualifications, to perform the work as described in the Instructions to Bidders, and complete the Best Bidder Information Form provided. Bidders shall comply with all statutory requirements in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. All Bids must include payment of wages at prevailing wage rates pursuant to Ohio Revised Code (ORC), Section 4115-15 and comply with the provisions, duties and obligations of ORC Section 4115. Further information provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Each Bidder must deposit with its Bid, a Bid Guaranty in the form of either a bond of an amount of 100% of the Bid if in the form of a Bid Guaranty or in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the Bid if in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit, for and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders and pursuant with ORC Section 153.54, 153.57 and 153.571. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety or via the electronic bid bond options available Electronically
