Bidders eligible to submit Bids for this Request for Tenders have been previously selected through the process of a Request for Prequalifications, issued under Contract C14-17-21 which closed on December 9, 2021. Construction services for the development of the new Salt Management Facility (SMF) Project located at 350 Wentworth St. N. in the City of Hamilton. The new SMF is expected to be approximately 13,000 sq ft in area with a 15m structure and must be able to provide storage for 6,000 tons of salt and a total of 88,500 litres of brine storage capacity in above ground plastic tanks. The SMF Project consists of general site work, pre-engineered salt storage building, exterior brine storage and dispensing, new material bunkers, retaining walls, soil improvements, hydrants and watermain, stormwater management (SWM) pond, new driveway connection, electrical service connections and site security features including perimeter fencing and sliding gates.
