Victoria Park Community Homes is inviting qualified Contractors to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for basement leaks related work in the Hamilton, Kitchener-Waterloo, and neighboring areas. Work required could include foundation repairs including small reinforcement repairs & concrete crack repairs, installing/replacing foundation drainage systems such as window wells, sump pumps, installing waterproof membranes, mold remediation, wet basement repairs, crawl space waterproofing, and weeping tile installation. The Contractor shall be responsible for all labor, installation, materials, transport, tools, equipment needed to implement and finalize the project. The proposed work will be awarded to the Contractor through negotiation or competitive bids. All costs and expenses incurred by the Proponent relating to this submittal will be borne by the Proponent. VPM is not liable to pay for such costs and expenses or to reimburse or to compensate the Proponent in any manner whatsoever for such costs and expenses under any circumstances, including the rejection of any or all proposals or the cancellation of this EOI. The project tasks described below are general in nature and are meant to outline the minimal scope of tasks and deliverables anticipated for the fulfillment of the project purpose and objectives. The work required will include basement leaks related work throughout the various properties under VPCH. The Contractor will be responsible for all other related tasks not specifically mentioned in order to ensure a complete and functional project.
