Site work and renovation of a civil project in Nickerson, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Project includes the following Work: Lift Station Improvements Work includes bypass pumping of wastewater removal of the two existing extended shaft non-clog sewage pumps and motors, removal of sump pump, removal of existing electrical equipment. Rehabilitation of fillets in the wet well, cleaning of the wet well and lining the wet well with Strong Seal a indicated, removal of the lift station top slab, building andinstallation of a new lift station top slab, construct walls of the lift station to meet elevation requirements, and hatches, installation of two new submersible pumps, base elbows, guiderails, installation of new pump discharge piping, installation of new meter and valve vault with bypass connections, connection to the existing force main, installation of new electrical equipment, controls, and generator with automatic transfer switch, site grading, fence removal and replacement and all other associated work as indicated on the drawings and within the specifications. Lagoon Rehabilitation and Rip Rap Lining Work includes the rehabilitation of the berms of the lagoons to the project specifications and installation of geotextile fabric and rip rap around both large lagoon cells on the east side as indicated on the project plans and within the project specifications. Sewer and Manhole Rehabilitation - consists of cleaning and rehabilitating approximately 6,163 LF of 8 inch sanitary sewer main, sanitary sewer service reinstatement removal and new manhole installation, video inspection, excavation and repair/ replacement or sewer service or main, concrete/asphalt removal and replacement, Rehabilitation of 26 manholes as indicated on the drawings and within the project specifications, dewatering, bypass pumping, traffic control, and associated incidental items of work as specified herein and indicated on the drawings for an acceptable and complete installation. Contractor shall submit a schedule of construction phasing prior to the preconstruction meeting. Bids shall be on a Unit Price bases and Bidders are require to bid on all unit prices. This is a State Revolving Fund (SRF) funded project. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. The check(s) or bond(s) shall be made payable to Village of Nickerson, 101 S. Maple St., Nickerson, NE 68044 as security that the bidder(s) to whom the award(s) are made will enter into contract to build the improvements bid upon and furnish the required bonds and insurance. The Village of Nickerson reserves the right to accept any bid which it deems most advantageous to the Owner, and to reject any or all bids submitted and to hold as many bids as it desires for consideration for a period of sixty (60) days after the bids are open.
