A timeline for award has not yet been established.*** Description: Work consists of constructing a kit, D-log cabin at Woody Island State Recreation Site. Construction will use department furnished and contractor furnished materials. Engineer's Estimate Range: $10,000 - $50,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Contractor may schedule a time to view the log package by contacting the area Park Ranger, Ben Shryock, at 1-907-486-6339 M-F 9:00 a.m. - 4 p.m. Work under this contract consists of constructing a kit log cabin. The Department has procured and is in possession of the base kit materials needed to construct the cabin. The Contractor is responsible for all labor, equipment, and material not provided by the Department to complete the cabin in accordance with the plans. The project location is at a remote site off the road system at Woody Island State Recreation Site. Boat access is the primary mode for accessing the project site which includes beach landing and travel 300 feet along a primitive trail.
