Site work for a road / highway in New Braunfels, Texas. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway.

New Braunfels Utilities (NBU) is soliciting Request for Proposals (RFP) for electric overhead and underground utility construction services. New Braunfels Utilities ("NBU") invites the submittal of responses to this Request for Proposals (RFP) from qualified firms interested in providing Overhead and Underground Construction Services, on an as needed basis, on its 12,470/7200-volt electric system (the "Project"). NBU is a Municipally Owned Utility ("MOU") serving 160 Square Miles in and around the New Braunfels, TX Region. Its longest service area diagonals are 25 miles generally along Hwy. 46 and 19 miles generally along IH-35. As of January 1, 2021, NBU serves 45,940 Electric Meters. This contract is described as an Annual Unit Price Contract with a Total Annual Value Limit not to exceed four million dollars ($4,000,000.00). The project documents consist of all the typical NBU engineered details and specifications. Some projects may have full design documents, however, full design documents may not be provided for all locations. Each separate project location will be issued under a Work Order given to the Contractor. The Specification Sections and Details included in the Contract Documents provide guidance for the types of Work the Contractor will encounter. However, since this is an Annual Unit Price Contract, all components of the Work are currently unknown. Each project, or individual Work Order (Attachment A), will define a Work location, a scope of work, and anticipated project duration with substantial and final completion deadlines, as applicable. The Contractor will perform work under the Annual Unit Price Contract up to and not to exceed the Total Annual Value Limit and based on the unit prices set forth in the bid form. No dollar amount is guaranteed, and NBU reserves the right to delete, add, or substitute projects as it deems necessary. The Project has been designed by NBU electrical engineers. The Project is anticipated to include some or all of the following items within its scope: o Overhead construction services. o Underground construction services. o All other appurtenances necessary to complete the Project. Responses are solicited for this service in accordance with the terms, conditions, and instructions set forth in the RFP guidelines.
