Site work and paving for a civil project in Sheffield Township, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
For the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment for replacing the LOR-CR202-0.00 (Broadway Resurfacing and Watermain Replacement) in Sheffield Township and the City of Lorain in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the office of Ken Carney, Lorain County Engineer. The work consists of planing and resurfacing 2.3 miles of Broadway from SR 2 to 28th St. Also included is the installation of a 10-inch water main from North Ridge Rd to E. 39th St. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any informalities or irregularities if it is deemed in the best interest of Lorain County to do so. Bidders must be listed on the ODOT pre-qualified list for highway construction. Any interpretation, correction or modification to the specifications desired shall be in writing to Ken Carney, County Engineer, 247 Hadaway St, Elyria, Ohio 44035, and must be received at least four (4) working days prior to the date of bid opening. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Lorain County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration, (614) 644-2239.
