Abatement construction done instead of demolition. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Ohio University Design and Construction is implementing the Research and Technology Demolition project. Demolition of Research and Technology Center (RTEC) will support the University Strategic Pathways as part of the Deferred Maintenance/Portfolio Reduction plan. Located at 3 Richland Ave, and built in 1948, RTEC is a four level, 49,848 gross sf building that was originally the Engineering Building, and has long housed the offices of Vice President for Research. Construction Cost: $2,320,000.0 Professional Services Start: 04.29.2022 Professional Services Completed: 11.30.2023 The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
