**As of March 7, 2022, project was awarded to Iseler Demolition, Inc., awarded amount is $122,767.55.** The scope of work for the project shall consist of the removal and disposal of the IH-35 500,000 gallon, all steel, torospherical leg, elevated storage tank. BID BOND REQUIREMENTS Bidders are required to submit a cashier's or certified check issued by a bank satisfactory to the City of Lewisville, or a Bid Bond (with proper Power of Attorney) from a surety licensed to do business in the State of Texas, payable without recourse to the City of Lewisville, in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the total amount of the base bid submitted to insure that the successful bidder will enter into a contract and execute all necessary bonds within fifteen (15) days after notice of award of the contract to him. This bid security must be uploaded to BidSync or included in the bid envelope along with the bid sheet for the bidder to be considered responsive. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the following bonds from a surety licensed to do business in the State of Texas. These bonds, along with proper insurance papers, will be incorporated as part of the final contract documents and will remain in effect until the completion and acceptance of the project. In conformance with applicable statutes utilizing Federal Davis Bacon Wage Rates as adopted by the General Services Commission, the general prevailing wage rates in the locality in which the work is to be performed have been ascertained and such rate shall be the minimum paid for labor employed on this project; unless federal monies are used, in which case, specific wage decisions will be listed as part of the overall bid documents. The City of Lewisville reserves the right to reject any and all bids, in whole or in part; to waive any informality in any bid. Award will be issued on the basis of lowest responsible bidder.
