Renovation of an educational facility in Bellevue, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Each Proposal shall be made on a form furnished by the Architect and included within the project manual, and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a Certified Check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid price, made payable to the Bellevue Public School District, which shall be considered as liquidated damages, and shall be forfeited to the Bellevue Public School District if said Proposal or Bid is accepted, and the Bidder fails to execute the contract and file the required bond as provided in the specifications. Bid Bond must be executed by a duly licensed corporate surety. Checks accompanying Proposals not accepted shall be returned to the Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his Proposal for a period of thirty (30) days after date set for opening bids. The work herein provided for shall be done under written contract with the responsible bidder submitting the most responsive acceptable Bid in accordance with the requirements of the Plans and Specifications. Items taken into consideration for analysis of bids are total cost, completion time, capabilities of bidding contractors, and past project performance on similar types of projects The Bellevue Public School District reserves the right to waive informalities, and to reject any, or all bids.
