Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Downers Grove, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
As of January 11 the project is set to be awarded on January 20 Meeting.. ***All potential bidders shall contact the Downers Grove Park District directly to request Bid documents, in order to be added to the plan holders list. Failure to request documents from the Park District may result in bids being rejected.*** The scope of work for this project includes resurfacing the existing tennis and pickleball courts (4 tennis + 2 pickleball). Work includes cleaning and filling all cracks with a court patch binder; filling all "birdbaths" to reduce standing water; applying 2 coats of acrylic resurfacer; applying 2 coats of acrylic color coating (to match existing colors); painting 2" wide textured white court lines; and other miscellaneous items as described in the Project Manual and associated Drawings. A bid security is not required for submitting a sealed bid. The Downers Grove Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids. There is NO bid bond required with this bid, but any projects over $50,000 (including any accepted Alternates) will require Performance & Payment Bonds.
