Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Linden, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Work includes replacement of inlets, installation of a manhole, replacement of 24" pipe and 48" pipe, repairing existing inlets, sidewalk, curb and paving restoration. Green Valley Road and Township Building Storm Sewer Replacements. construct new or replace existing concrete curbs removed during construction Bids must include a certified check or bid bond, with corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania in the amount of ten percent of the bid, all as posted through online. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Questions may be submitted through online on or before Noon on Monday, December 6, 2021. Responses will be provided to all registered plan holders. Attention of Bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in the bid packages, particularly to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates (Glendale only), various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, requirements for a one-year maintenance bond and the E-Verify Public Works Employment Verification Act. Newtown Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids thereof and waive any informalities in the bidding, as they deem in the interest of the Township. Completion- Sixty (60) Calendar Days; liquidated damages Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00)
