Ralston Public Schools is requesting proposals from qualified construction management firms (CM) to provide construction management at risk services for an Elementary School Facilities Improvement Project, including without limitation construction of a new elementary school building at the Mockingbird Elementary site; addition, remodel, reconstruction, and/ or modification of the elementary school buildings at each of the Meadows Elementary, Wildewood Elementary, and Blumfield Elementary sites; site improvements at each location identified above; and demolition of the existing elementary school building at the Mockingbird Elementary site. The construction cost budget, is approximately $34,749,294 to $39,961,688 The total Project budget is approximately $40,304,271 to $46,349,912 Scope and Nature. This Elementary School Facilities Improvement Project will likely include without limitation construction of a new elementary school building at the Mockingbird Elementary site; addition, remodel, reconstruction, and/or modification of the elementary school buildings at each of the Meadows Elementary, Wildewood Elementary, and Blumfield Elementary sites; site improvements at each location identified above; and demolition of the existing elementary school building at the Mockingbird Elementary site. It is anticipated that the Project will progress and be completed in stages, as follows: (1) Phase 1 consisting of construction of a new elementary school building and site improvements at the Mockingbird Elementary site; (2) Phases 2-4 consisting of addition, remodel, reconstruction, and/or modification of the elementary school buildings at each of the Meadows Elementary, Wildewood Elementary, and Blumfield Elementary sites and site improvements to the same; and (3) Phase 5 consisting of demolition of the existing elementary school building at the Mockingbird Elementary site. During the anticipated Phases 2-4, summarized above, the student and staff populations for each such respective elementary school site under construction will be temporarily relocated to the currently existing Mockingbird Elementary. The specific elementary schools that are within Phases 2-4 respective, and the order in which each Phase progresses will be determined after a CM is selected and it is anticipated that the successful CM will provide input to that planning decision.
