Last day for questions and/or information on this project shall be Tuesday the 7th of December 2021 at 5:00 pm. Ferris State University reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids. Work is to be performed at Ferris State University, Ewigleben Sports Complex Section G located at 210 Sports Drive, Big Rapids, Michigan. The Sports Complex Section G is divided into two separate sections, Section G-lwhich is a standing seam metal roof and is approximately 20,587 total square feet in size. The other area is Section G-2, which is a fully adhered, fire rated, reinforced, 60 mil Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) single-ply retro-fitroofing system which was installed over the existing standing seam metal roof and is approximately 5,624 total square feet in size. Section G-l shall be the application of a new liquid applied roof coating over the existing standing seam metal roof. The Ferris State University Ewigleben Sports Complex is located at 210 Spoils Drive. Big Rapids, Michigan and as shown or indicated in the Design Specifications, drawings, and details, except for the work indicated or specified to be done by others. This section is intended as a supplement to and not a replacement for, the General Conditions, Design Specifications, and/or other such sections as contained herein. In the event this section conflicts with any other(s) the stricter interpretation shall apply. In general, the work of this contract shall include, but not he limited to, the furnishing of all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, supplies, appurtenances, transportation, and services required for the application of a liquid applied roof coating of the Ewigleben Sports Complex Section G-l which is approximately 20,587 total square-Jcct in size and the installation of an EPDM wall flashing on the metal wall panel on Section G-2. The acceptable manufacturers for the aforementioned roofing system application shall be that of Firestone, Carlisle, Gaco, Sika, and Andek, or pre-approved membrane manufacturer or coating manufacturer.
