Pre-bid RFI cutoff Friday 2/11/22 by EOB This project consists of the abatement, interior demolition, and then new fit-out of the existing Alumni Building at Ferris State University, the oldest building on campus. The new primary users will be the FSU ITS department and FSU Archives. At the completion of the new work and move-in to Alumni Building, the West Building will be completely abated and then demolished. This Project Manual is being issued to establish a set of front-end documents for Construction Subcontract scopes specifically regarding Bid Package No. 2: Concrete & Steel. 03-01 - Structural Concrete 05-01 - Structural Steel The bidder, if awarded the Contract, may be required by the Owner or the Construction Manager to provide, a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment bond, covering up to the full amount of the Contract sum as security for the faithful performance of all work under the Contract and payment of all charges in connection therewith. Such bonds must be furnished within 15 days of the request for the bonds. Bonds shall be proffered by U.S. domiciled firm licensed to conduct business within the State of Michigan, U.S. Treasury listed, and rated by A.M. Best as A-, financial category FSC IV or better.
